Semi- finals

I AM SO EXCITED I AM IN THE EXPOSITORY SEMI- FINALS, BUT I DON'T REALLY WANT TO Be I ALL I WANT TO DO IS THE DRAMATIC!!!!!!!! and another thought I have my first frost bite but it is really bothering me really bad.i do not know what to do with it. I am so confused and I am playing Mario Party DS at the same time.

Speech

i am really excited about the speech contest we are going to do i am going to do the one i did last year here it is:Hahahahaaaa... Somebody there? Somebody... Who said that? Don't play innocent with me. You've known all along. Where are you? Follow the cold shiver running down your spine......I'm right here! (looking at his own reflection in a large mirror) I don't understand. Did you think it was coincidence. so many good things all happening for you. All for you, Norman! What do you want? TO say what you won't. To do what you can't. To remove those in your way. (Norman looks at a copy of the Daily Bugle with the news of the Goblin's rampage) The board members.. You killed them! WE killed them! We? Remember? Your little accident in the laboratory? The performance enhancers... Bingo! Me! Your greatest creation. Bringing you what you've always wanted. Power beyond your wildest dreams. And it's only the beginning. There's only one that can stop us. or imagine if he joined us.(evil laughter). i think this is really coool because i kinda remember it from last year. i only know 7 words of it.

The Arctic Ice Cap

Have you ever have heard of the Arctic Ice Cap? Well I have heard of the Arctic Ice cap. Did you know it is on top of Earth? It’s called the North Pole for some people in some other countries. Does it just sit there or does it just melt away?
Although the Arctic ice cap is huge in size, it also is melting quicker then predicted in the past. It is very natural that the Arctic Ice cap is melting in the summer and refreezing in the winter. The scientists always check the size in September. But in September of 2007 the new low record was 1.59 million sq miles of the Arctic ice Cap that has melted. In September 2005 the arctic ice cap melted to a record, to a low of 2.05 million sq miles. The Arctic Ice Cap will be ice-free by the summer of 2100, but if the temperature keeps getting higher the ice will be gone by 2030!
The causes of the Arctic ice cap melting is global warming. Global warming is caused by emissions coming off of cars, snow machines, factories, and aerosol cans people use everyday for years. These gases get trapped in the ozone layer. The sun’s rays get stuck in the ozone layer and it causes the earth to get warmer. The gases will stay in the atmosphere for 50 years. Its like the earth is in an oven and the ice is melting very quickly.
One effect of the melting Arctic Ice Cap is that the Northwest Passage is navigable for a short time. The Northwest Passage is a shortcut on top of the world that will go across to any shipping company and it is 4,000 miles. If shipping companies use the Northwest Passage the cost of getting the products or receiving them will cost a lot less. Some companies cross the Northwest Passage in the summer. If some companies just go ahead with traveling in the winter it may cause many environmental disasters. Because the ice burgs are very sharp so if a ship hits on it may cause oil spill. Oil spills may poison many creatures and they will die for certain. The scientists believe that the Northwest Passage will be open by 2015. A lot of the poor shipping companies starts to cross the Arctic ice cap, but it is unsafe says scientists because there are a lot of sharp ice burgs that can be penetrated and cause the oil to spill all over the ocean floor.

Curry Rice

My favorite food is curry rice i really like it for some reason may be i tried when my dad tried it.my dad said, "try it, it's good for you" so i did it was really yummy then i imagined it would be gross but i really, really liked it so much that i wanted it everyday. i like it medium spicy but pretty soon i won't soon i will have hot but not right now. whenever Michelle makes it i get really excited to eat it. Michelle is my step mother, but she makes the best curry rice i ever had. you all should try it. It is very yummy with coca cola it is really gooooood. my baby brother likes it too but we don't let him have it spicy because it is really bad for his tummy but Boot loves it we always give her the bowl to lick off the stuff its like prewashing it by her tongue.

A Memory

Once upon a time there was a 14-year-old girl named April Hoover. She lived with her mom, Teresa Hoover, because her dad, Max, died from pneumonia. April went to school at Z.J. Max School in Phoenix, Arizona. She hated going to school because a girl named Cassidy was bullying her and calling her names all the time.

Cassidy Rich had long, gold, smooth hair. She had a body like a model and a face like a Barbie doll.She had blue eyes and was 14 years old. She was rich and got whatever she wanted. She was a spoiled brat.

The reason Cassidy was bullying April was because April was a pro at rock climbing and Cassidy was jealous of her. Cassidy tried to get rid of her. Cassidy tried to lock April up in the janitor’s closet. The janitor was an old friend of her father and freed her. After she was freed, and April went to class and she told her teacher “Cassidy locked me up in the janitor’s closet.” The teacher sent Cassidy to the principal’s office. The principal suspended Cassidy for one week. After one week in school when April went to the bathroom Cassidy followed her. Cassidy grabbed April by her shirt and told her, “Today after school at the front I will fight you”

April asked, “What did I do to you?”

Cassidy said “You suspended me for one week!”

Cassidy dropped April and left the bathroom. One hour later Cassidy was waiting for April in front of the school.

When April got outside she saw Cassidy and was terrified! She didn’t want to fight she just wanted to be friends. Cassidy was going to punch April in the stomach but April dodged it. Then Cassidy hit April on the face and April said “ouch.” April kept dodging the attacks that Cassidy punched.

Then April remembered what her father said, “Tell the person that is trying to pick a fight with you should tell them to be friends instead of fighting with each other.”
April said, “We should be friends instead of fighting I will teach you how to go fast and beat the others at rock climbing.”
Cassidy said, “Okay if you teach me that I will not bully you any more.”

Then April and Cassidy became friends and never fought again. April had a dream that night that her father was telling her
“Be good to your mother.”

April said, “I will and I always love you and mom” and April smiled at her dad and hugged him.

In the morning she went to school with her new friend Cassidy every day. They lived happily ever after. April now knows that her father is in her heart and never be forgotten forever.

Reading project

i was thinking to do is like bring one of my necklaces from home and display it as if it was from London old times and it will be madame Forestier's necklace. i will really like it because my necklaces are fake like Forestier's necklaces. it would be really awsome if i could look up the necklaces that were in old time London.

Our State Flag

Our state flag is so cool that i learned that the star that is above it is the North Star. I am so glad we have a flag that represents us for what we see at night which is really cool if you ever want to see it come to Alaska. We have eight stars, the seven stars represents the Big Dipper the eighth star represents the North Star. The North Star shows us where the North is, which i think it really goes well with our state because no other city can see the stars. But if you go camping out and you will see the stars since they are to beautiful.

Status

Status is defined a person belongs to a group which he or she belongs.

When a person has status like a person who has a lot of money could act as if they are really nice and polite to people. Or a person who has not much money like a person who is trained well when they were rich. When their parents were rich. Or a person that is very nice but has a lot of money and is not being very polite and gentlemen like or lady like.

Birthday present

When my mom came back she gotten me an Ipod nano and the WII i wanted. it was a surprise when she got me an IPod nano i really, really like it very much i will bring it everday for years untill i get an iphone like my uncle Nori and aunt Angela. for the WII i set it up in my room i will bring my other games that are in michelle's apartment in Bethel they are really COOOOOL!!! for me and other game freaks. until i go home i will be listening to my songs on my Ipod.

Yesterday

yesterday i was in Bethel because Michael didn't want to pick me up because it was to dark all because he went out hunting i wish he hadn't and now i am mad at him. i am furious at him but it gave me a little more time to do my homework and that was good for me.

Inuyasha's Battle with lady Kikyo!!

On the start of the day Kagomi and Inuyasha was on their journey to find the Sacred Jewel Shards and defeat Naraku for revenge. On their way in the woods Inuyasha and Kagomi saw a castle. Inuyasha said, “I know that scent its Naraku’s and his miasma.“ They approached the castle and saw Kikyo walking around. Then Inuyasha asks, “Where is Naraku?” demandingly. Kikyo answered, “Find him yourself.” Inuyasha and Kikyo drew out their swords and began to battle and while Kagomi stands back and watches them in a safe distance. Inuyasha kept asking, “Where is Naraku hiding?” demandingly. Kikyo continued answering, ”Find him yourself!” and the fight goes on. A while later Inuyasha then asks again, “Where is Naraku hiding?” but Kikyo still doesn’t say. Then Kagomi asks in her mind “where would Naraku hide? Hmm”.
Kagomi senses a Sacred Jewel Shard near-by and sees it is with Kikyo. It’s in her Kimono to the left side of her stomach. Then Kagomi said to Inuyasha, “She has a sacred jewel shards on the left side Inuyasha!” Inuyasha aims for the left side of Kikyo but Kikyo dodges the attack and they keep battling on.
At last Inuyasha uses his wind scar on Kikyo and this time it hit her. But she is able to revive back to life. She then went into one of the rooms. Kikyo disappears in like two fingers snap, real fast.
Kagomi and Inuyasha tried to look for Kikyo but never found her. Kagomi and Inuyasha went back on their journey to find the sacred jewel shards and take revenge on Naraku.

i'm always the one who

in my family i'm always the one who does dishes, sweep the floor, mop the floor, clean the oven, dust the house, way before the inspectores come to the houses to inspcet it which really sucks if you have a lot on your mind for what to do and also a lot of homework like me since i am in highschool and i have to memorize yupik songs for yupik class since i have to work hard very hard to just to stay in school. Right? i know i know i am whining since i am the ONLY GIRL IN MY FAMILY WHICH IT REALLY REALLY SUCKS FOR ME!!!!! i don't really like to be the only girl in my family. but i get things i want when i clean the house before my mom gets back and i will get it. Theres always good things to come when you clan the house RIGHT!?!?! i'm i right, i'm i right??!!

my first robotics

when i started robotics it was really scary for me because i thought people were going to tease us because we came from Alaska. And where we live since it is the second smallest village in Alaska. also i was really nervous because we were so shy to talk to people but we made it to the championships only if chris woodward were to read this i would say "we would have never made it without him because he was really sirouse on us so we listened to him so i am proud that we made it to the championships with him." but i hope that our team makes it to the championships i hope we go to.

First Lego League

Robotics is when you do research on the theme and you have to have a presentation about the problems and solving the problems with programs. Also you have to build a robot you and your team has built togather in your own design that you and your team think is really cool. its really fun because you get to program some missions and also make the program, you can make it do some funky dance for your robot. but you still have to let it do missions and also set up your playing field which is a lot of work for one person so thats why you need a team to set up some stuff. by the way you could find out where people are from and maybe makefriends with them. so it is still fun when you make friends or see your fiends.

Birthday

i hope my birthday next weekend will be more fun then last year. it would have been much better since i will be 15. i can't wait to find out what my family will give me on my 15th birthday. i kinda like surprises on my birthday i don't know what i will get you know it kinda like a surprise party. iwould like to have a pinata for the little kids, and us teenager's which will be fun like my little brother Jaden had on his first birthday it was really cool to have a Bumble Bee shaped cake and it was kinda big. but it was really cool still. if my cake would look like a cake for a fifteen year olds from Ace of Cakes i would really love it since i like to watch their show almost everyday on Food Network. i would want a cake shaped like a book with lots of disighnes it will really look cool on my birthday. maybe i will find a cake that will look like a really fancy book i woud make it if i have the right tools for it that would BE REALLY, REALLY AWSOME!!!!

but i want to go bethel on the weekend instead of staying here in Oscarville which will really suck, because i want to go to a resterant for my birthday or go on a shopping spree for whatever i want like clothes, games, you know what I mean? i wish i had WII so i could play my games i already bought from my trip to California which they will be fun, and also it is good excersise for me because it involves moving around like Mario Party 8 which involves moving, or Zelda the Twilight Princess the game, which is really cool i hope it is really, really cool.

Drivers ED

Driver's ED was AWSOME!!! i passed two assemint drives i might be able to have a permit once i am fifteen. also i think i got a little used to it. but if had a litle more time i would have done a better job driving then now. i can't wait till we have our test this week i hope i pass to get my permit to drive. i might drive Michael's truck for once with him in the car since he has a Driver's Licence. i hope one day i will own a hybrid, and i will fix it on my own instead of paying a lot of money to be fixed by a mechanic that knows how to. but only when i take engineering classes.

One Night

Last night i went for a walk it was very peaceful all I could hear was the drops of rain falling on top of an empty barrel which was kind of soothing also the sound of rubbing rope and plastic, also the sound of my foot steps. that night i also heard birds singing which was really soothing last night i even calmed down from last night.

My summer vaction

I had fun on my summer vacation with my Stepmom Michelle and my brother Jaden also with my cousin Sebastian we almost went everywhere in Burbank, California. First we went on a road trip with my auntie LaLa A.K.A Angela, my uncle Nori, and Last but not least my little cousin Kobe. When we went on on the road it was early in the morning and it was cold that night when we left my grandma Kiko's house. we were on our way to Denver,Colorado for a family reunion and for my great grandma's 90th birthday. IT WAS AWSOME!!!!!! it was really cool to meet the other side of my family they were almost everywhere in the U.S. which was coooool!!!! while we were on our way we went camping near Brice Canyon which was AWSOME!!!!! Then saw the other parts of the canyon espcially the Rainbow Canyon it was BEUTIFUL. when we got to Denver we met the family at the Residents Inn which there were two next door to each other. We slept in the other hotel insted of Residents Inn. Both had swimming pools inside but Resident's hotel it was much better then where we were stayed at. The very next day we went to my great grandma's room and ate lunch there it was very enjoyable to meet my great grandmother. And when it was dinner time we went to eat at a restaurant/farm/giftshop it was awsome to ride in an old time carrage with a real live horse. After all the activities in Denver were done we drove all the way back to Burbank, California. IT WAS AWSOME TO SEE ALL THE SIGHTS WE SAW GOING AND COMING BACK FROM THE FAMILY REUNION!!!!!!!!!!! It was the most fun i ever had in my entire life going almost everywhere we can in Burbank. and that ends my vacation with Michelle.

Hi I am Nicole Stevens iam 14 soon i will be 15. And i can't wait till i am 15 really bad!!! I like to read books alot of them espacially graphic novels or comics. Also i like anime cartoons because they are a teenage kind of a cartoon not like a kids cartoon. Also i like scary movies that are really scary at night. So i watch them at night and they will be very scary. I like to create images of my inventions in my mind but never share them and maybe try and find a better solution then killing or destroing an animal or an invention whenever i watch the news. but this one time i heard there was a bear near anchorage but i wonder if they killed it or didn't. I really need to know about that!!!!!!
I live in Oscarville, Alaska. It is a small village but there is some history about it that is quite interesting to me. Oscarville is quite a nice place to live and it is almost close to a city called Bethel, which we go there for groceries we need. I have three brothers my big brother is Michael Stevens, my little brother is Trevor Mesak, my baby brother is in bethel living with my step- mom Michelle his name is Jaden Nicholai. why i have a different name then my mother Olga Mesak because she married a man named Oscar Mesak from Kipnuk, Alaska, and my dad, Alexie Nicholai jr. married Michelle oleske thats why i have a different last name then my mom's except my big brother Michael Stevens.

An Accident

a year ago I had an accident with a grate and had a really bad cut. Which all i had to do is to keep my leg straight so the stichtes won't tear my skin. this was at bethel BRHS school.
